How to use the cell phone?

Just got the cell phone - what do we do with it? Looks like the dance game things pop up on top - do I dial something? What do I do with it?

Well, when you use the cell phone, you can put in a special code to see somebody. Like if your on the second generation or more you can go to Family and it will say cell phone number or something and when your tamagotchi is an adult it can put in the code to see your parent/grandparent, or you can call other people on it, too. Or, you can just use this chart to see all the numbers easily. of course, < is A, the circle is B, and the > right is C. The chart is from the official Tamagotchi website, tamagotchi.com.
