I opened the back and all i see are the battery and the reset button.

Look up in the corners. You will see some more smaller screws.Undo them.

WARNING!: Do not debug your v.3 it turns it into a v.2 except for the new games!You cant even visit tamatown! Debuging can break yor tama and you get bored with it after 2 days.
