My little peacock(what's it called?) tama(v4.5) turned into a mametchi!!! I didn't think I was doing that well with feeding it?? So.. was it a glitch or what? Also.. how do you know when the matchmaker is coming and what button do you press?

From the way you described your teen character, it sounds like you had Kujakutchi. (P.S. There's a V4.5 character chart here: https://www.tamatalk.com/IB/index.php?showtopic=117034 )

Going through my V4.5 notes, found mention of the matchmaker visiting at 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM, but I think she may also visit sometime in the morning.

On the V4.5 (and V1-V4 also) the MM appears at 10.30am, 3pm and 7pm

When she appears on screen you press any of the buttons and you will get an offer of a partner who you will see arrive on screen.

The MM asks "Love?" and if you want your tama to have a baby with that partner - select Yes, or if you don't want that partner, select No. Use A button to scroll between YES / NO and B button to select.
