I recently read the "Bringing Down the House" and it's an amazing book. While there are some things a bit adult about it (it's set in Vegas most of the time, what do you expect?) I learned a lot of interesting things.

The (completely true) story is about some kids who went to MIT (Massachusetts institute of Technology) and they have a Blackjack club where people go to Vegas every weekend and make a lot of money counting cards.

It's a pretty simple concept, really, but I hope you'll check the book out. :3

Vegas, baybay! ^^

That sounds pretty interesting. I'll have to check it out. =3

Oh, and kids, if you ever find yourself in a casino, don't count cards. It ends badly, as my cousin found out. xD

Another great book to read is East by Edith Pattou.

It's a wonderful book about a girl who gets taken away by a polar bear who's under a spell, he gets turned back into a human, and then she goes on this journey to find the bear again.

It's difficult to explain the book, and it sounds odd when telling the plot to someone, but it's a great book! It's wonderfully written. =)
