What does hardcore mean? I've been wondering for quite a while. My friend couldn't explain it to me.

I know this is pretty lame, but I don't know that kind of stuff. [[ It started when my friend was all, "If everyone had a label." <-- Do not say "OMG, I hate labels." I'm just saying. We were doing this for some strange reason. ]]
