Yesterday, I went and bought a v5.

I was thinking about joining here and was looking for an avatar. I have the Sing A Song theme, and you see that the color is sort a light yellow-green wheat-like sort of color. Mine's lime green. The radar thing is dark red, not bright red, and the three stars above "TAMAGOTCHI CONNECTION" are higher than they should be by like a milimetre.

Maybe the shades you saw were slightly different.

Just double check the acutal design, and if you or a friend has a tamagotchi, which you are for sure is real, try and connect them together, if you can then it is real, if not then I'm sorry, but it could be a fake.

*NOTE: Version 5's can only connect to version 5's, nothing else...*

no your's is not a fake.my friend has that design too and it works just like any other real tama.
