Love potion only work if you are connecting two tamagotchis that are the same version. The reason for this is that there is no love potion on Version 1 tamagotchis. When you use a V2 and choose VER. 1 or use a V3 or V4 and choose OTHERS it is the same connection type as V1. Because V1 has no love potion they will not fall in love if they are two different versions of Tamagotchi (or both V1.)

I think they should both be adults, about 2 hearts, and then, drink the love potion, and then connent, of cousre they will have to be female, and male.

Ok, it has 2 hearts around it, I'm not so sure (I cant remeber) but, I think the heart blink. It doesn't stop until 5 minutes.
