Actually back in the days of Christopher Columbus they use to eat rats, and dirty water when they were stuck on the ship for days..

Anyways I think I would have to say a Peanut Butter magazine, although it's just paper I wouldn't want to eat a bug o.o' But if you're hungry you will almost eat anything..

I can see what people mean by eating the germ, we do it all the time anyway but the whole idea is that what would you eat if you are hungry and need to fill yourself up...not what would you eat for a dare? imagine the size of a germ big enough to be at least a snack? ew!

I don't know what i'd choose....probably the beetle because at least you'd be able to digest it.
