When they say "older" versions, I think they mean the tamas before the V1 was launched

Like the P1/P2 and G1/G2 tamas, etc.

Yes, but most of any kind of version needs to be in it's box to make money. But if you have an extra of the old ones in a package... *eyes turn into dollar signs* you could get money. Especially ones like Devilgotchi, Santagotch, or Osutchi and Mesutchi.
