There is no right or wrong, too light or too heavy weights for Tamagotchis. The 99 pound weight limit prevents your Tamagotchi from being to fat, and the base weight prevents it from being too skinny. However, if you feel uncomfortable with your Tamagotchi's weight, just keep playing games with it, and it will lose weight.
