It might be common where you live but hard to find on the Internet since many pictures on the Internet are of American or Japanese Tamagotchi.

My v1, for example, is white with flames. It was quite common where I live but you can rarely ever find it on the Internet.

I'm guessing not. It depends on where you live. Where you live, that version is not rare. To others, yes.
