but you can look at the character chart and see if you can find it

It might not be there if it is a rare character

Well I saw a old post about getting santagotchi on the V3. And I know there's a santagotchi,but not sure if it's a secret charater on the V3.

I'm not shure, there is a type of tama (not a character) that is a santagotchi. I think the old post was a untrue rumour.

No you can't. You can't get it as a character but on V2 it will visit your Tama an a special occasion.
