Is there an official pause function

I read in a V2 review about an actual pause feature. How do you do this and can you do it on the UK ones??? I'll recheck the instructions to see if i didn't miss it.

I'm in the UK and have a V2 Connexion - also have seen / played with a V2 Connection - both have PAUSE

Same as the V1 Connections - press buttons A & B at the same time and the screen freezes with a pic of your character on it with PAUSE underneath.

To unPause, just press A & B again.

Thank you, yes it WAS in the instruction, I must have skipped over that bit. That'll be useful for school tomorrow, because it probably won't come out of pause. Thankyou TamaMum!!!

I don't usually pause my tamagotchi, at least not on purpose when I put it in my pocket sometimes I accidently press buttons.
