Is this a glitch?

My female Tamagotchi was a teen this morning, and then it evolved into an adult Shitekitchi. I checked the official Tamagotchi character chart and it said the character was supposed to be a boy. The chart describes the Tama as a female, but lists it under Boy. So which one is it? And does this mean the chart on Tamagotchi.com could list other female characters as males, and males as females?

a tama is useualy what your acutual tama says it is. Tama charts are differant, and say a tama is alot of differant things. Tamas are sometimes girls, when charts say they are boys. Your tama is what ever your tama says itis. Male or female.

Bandai America makes mistakes in their charts, notice how they mixed up the oldie's personalities.

Shitekitchi is supposed to be a female character.
