I have a v4.5 and my little brother has a v4 and when we connect and when we go to eachothers tamas (like when we click visit or present) it shows a nazotchi but neither of our tamas are nazotchi's??

No, this is not a glitch.

If your character is not programmed in a tamagotchi, it appears as nazotchi.

For example, if your V4.5 Ura Mametchi visits a V4, it will appear as a Nazotchi in V4 because Ura Mametchi does not exist/is not programmed in V4.

If you have let's say a V4.5 Mimitchi, when it visits a V4, it will appear as Mimitchi since it is available/programmed in V4.
