can a boy tamagotchi transform into a maskitchi i mean i always thought that maskitchi was the girl form of gozarutchi but my v3 transformed into a maskitchi and it was a boy

strange or what?

Well, I have had the masktchi as a girl and a boy before, so i think it doesn't matter. I know it says that only girls can be masktchis, but i don't think that's true! I'm not so sure about v4's, they might be different...

If you have a V3 it can be a girl or a boy It's normal!

On the V4 BanDai changed it so that the Characters are either always Girls (Masktchi, Memetchi etc.) or always Boys (Gozarutchi, Mametchi, etc).

So each character on the V4 has a gender and it's always the same - can't change.

But on the V3, V2, V1 - they can be either gender
