Um i dont really think that it is. You should just pause it until you get home or find out ways to check it every so often. My friends keeps theirs in their jacket so when the Teach. is not lookin, she checks it,

Yeah it would most probably dies for 7 hours without care so if i was you i would use tamafans advise.

It might die but there is a way to not pause it, it won't die, and the growth will stay the same. Right before you go to school set your tama to 10:00 pm, 9:00 pm, or 8:00 pm and then when you come home change back to the regular time. It will sleep the whole day.

Well, last year, when I played with a V4, I left my Tama on ALL DAY. She always got sick. When she was an adult, about 3, 4, or 5, well, she started getting sick randomly, even under good care, and, she died.

Use the sleep trick shadowprincess238 provided. It works.
