You can connect with a child to an adult tama from version 1 and version 2. Mabye your is still a baby?

I'm pretty sure that when they are 1yrs old u can connect.

Actually I can connect with babys sometimes, I have a baby on my friend list!!!! But it dosen't always work because it didn't work with my friend but it has always worked with me!

Baby's can and can't connect. In V1s there are the same version but kind of newer where the babies can connect. On the first ones and the ConneXes they can't. They can on ConneCTions.

it could be that the battery of one of them is low. one of my friends and i were connecting and hers kept failing.

in the end the battery was in the process of dying and it couldn't generate enough power to get the infra-red to work
