I just got a V3 yesterday, & I was just wondering - will all the items that I'm buying & money I'm earning be carried over to the new generation when my current Tamagotchi leaves?

Yes, they will. The money, items, food, souvineirs - the lot. (Except training and relationships because they're meant for one tamagotchi only)

When your adult Tamagotchi character returns to Tamagotchi Planet, leaving her/his baby in your care, s/he takes some of the souvenirs with her/him. S/he takes the two keys from the Town Hall, the medal from the School, the cell phone from the Parent, the BMX bike from the GrandParent, and all of the items s/he won in the Arcade games: skateboard, balloon, baseball cap, and teddy bear. I guess that's all s/he can fit in her/his suitcase.

I'm not too worried about the souveniers, because it's not like you can really do anything with them anyways, but I was worried that I was spending hundreds of points on things my current tamagotchi couldn't use (& earning hundreds of points) for no reason
