Don't worry. It takes about 3 days (72 hours) after your tamagotchi evolved into an Adult. When did your tamagotchi evolve into an Adult? If it just did, then you are fine. You are also fine if it evolved at the age of 3, 4, or 5 
If not, then you probably will get it later in the day. Make sure that you check the mail. You may get mail un-expectantly because you are busy with something else, so check the mail often If it is not fine, it is probably a glitch..change your battery and download it
