Love potion

What is the love potion good for, is it only good to use when you want your tamagotchi to fall in love with a friend's tamagotchi, or can this be used on your tama on its own.. does it summon the match maker earlie??? or what?

it doesnt make the matchmaker come early, but it will have hearts around it and if you connect with another adult tamagotchi(they both need to be adults and different genders) then i think they will marry, im not sure but im sure about matchmaker not coming early
