Marrying my tama it went to the wrong one

I was marring my two tamas (v5)through connecting them.On my blue one i gave and on my red one i accepted But insted of going to the blue one It went to the red one :kuribotchi: my secret character was on the red one!Is this supossed to happen i need to know when i marry again

You did it wrong. The red one you wanted was supposed to give and the blue one was supposed to accept. If you did that, the red one would go to the blue one.
