Your tamagotchi will do the attention beep, then an old lady holding a book should appear. Press B. Rumors have it that when the book is open, you will get a girl, book closed means boys. That's only a rumor, though. Then she will show you another tamagotchi and say "Do you Love?". Say YES! Now they should talk and they might have a baby which you have to take care of for 2 full days. Once the mama leaves you will not lose your items and you will have a generation 2 (or whatever is + 1 your generation).
