Mizutama (Mizutamatchi): Raindrop/teardrop

Bokusa (Bokusatchi/Boxertchi): Japanese version of English word "Boxer"

Hinotama (Hinotamatchi): Fireball

Maru (Marutchi): Round

Mimi (Mimitchi): Ears

Kuchi (Kuchipatchi, Kuchitamatchi etc.): Mouth

Nazo (Nazotchi): Secret

Masuku (Masukutchi/Masktchi): Japanese version of English word "Mask"

Furawa (Furawatchi/Leaftchi/Korotchi/Violetchi): Japanese version of English word "Flower" (that's why I highly detest the names "Leaftchi," "Korotchi," and "Violetchi")

Shima (Shimashimatchi/Simasimatchi): Stripes

Meido (Meidotchi/Maidtchi): Japanese version of English word "Maid"

Bebi (Bebitchi, Shirobebitchi): Japanese version of English word "Baby"

Gaijin (Gaijintchi/Bill): Foreigner

Washiki (Washikitchi): Squat toilet

Unchi (Unchikun): Ummmmmm.... I think it means "excrement"

Beru (Berutchi/Belltchi): Japanese version of English word "Bell"

Bomu (Bomutchi/Bombtchi): Japanese version of English word "Bomb"

Puchi (Puchitchi/Petitchi): Petit, small

Futago (Futagotenshi): I think it might mean "twins" though I'm not sure

Tenshi (A lot of Angel characters have this suffix): Possibly means "angel"

Purankuton (Purankutontchi/Planktontchi): Japanese version of English word "Plankton"

Kurakka (Kurakkatchi/Crackertchi): Japanese version of English word "Cracker"

Kuri (Kuribotchi, Kuritchi, Kuriten): Chestnut

Mausu (Mausutchi/Mousetchi): Japanese version of English word "Mouse"

Nonbiri (Nonbiritchi): Carefree

Obake (Obaketchi): I think it might mean "ghost" though I'm not sure

Well, Tamagotchi are Japanese, so isn't it just natural that Tamagotchi names are foreign?

Martello737, I didn't actually "discover" most of them. Most of them came from my own terrible knowledge of Japanese.
