I think memetchi comes from average/good care- maybe let the hearts drop so there's one empty!

Memetchi is a good/average care character.

However, there isn't really a defined 'way' of getting a certain character. For example, I took the same care of one tama as I did with another. One ended up a Furawatchi/Leaftchi/Violetchi/whatever, and the other ended up a Mametchi.

Just take pretty good care of your tama. Maybe let its hearts drop by a few and fill them up afterwards. Also don't forget, Memetchi is odd generation.
