mothra tamagotchi

Being a pretty big Mothra fan, I recently ordered a 1997 Japanese Mothra Tamagotchi from eBay.

In anticipation of my new arrival, I want clarity with a few things from other Mothra owners:

Does he have a sound off option?

Will he take standard SR/LR-44 batteries like my other older v-pets?

And lastly, does anyone have any good instructional sites to help me care for him? ^^

these are the instructions for the mothra. i don't know much about mothra's, but i think all tamas including the ancestors are able to turn the sound off and i think all ancestors require LR-44 batteries, it should say on the package(even if its in japanese you should be able to find it)
