This is probably a really silly question... I know that TamaTown is down (so no way of unlocking the secret characters, boo!) but do any of the instruments come up for sale in the shop? Or are they, aside from the basic guitar, TamaTown items only? Is my poor little tama stuck playing the guitar for ever?

Sometimes, the shopkeeper/ Nazotchi will sell instruments as well, and I believe the Mocha and Spot costumes, too. The only way to get the Destiny Stars are to get it from TamaTown, as you said above. But sometimes, the European TamaTown works if you want to log on and get the Destiny Stars, since the American one is usually lazy. .3.

Thanks - unfortunetaly I've never been able to register with the european tamatown either - although I've only been trying for a week or so. I've tried with multiple browsers and a cleared cache, so... Maybe it's just the luck of the draw. Sigh.
