so i own two tamagotchis, and i had planned to own many more. but yesterday, the battery on one of my tamagotchi's died and it was farely expensive, which makes me wonder, should i own more then two tamagotchi's? how long to batteries last?

Batterys usually last a long time. How long did your battery last?? Maybe the battery was not new so when you but it in it only had half power left. But if you just bought the Tamagotchi at the store it should have full battery. I got my v4 yesterday and it did not run out of power. I own alot of tamagotchis and only 2 have batterys right now. You can have as many tamagotchis as you want. But its hard to take care of all of them. If you need any more help or this anwser does not explain fully enough just PM me.

also, dont forget, you dont have to buy the batteries via bandai!

they cost much cheaper at your local drugstore or radioshack.

I buy mine at radio shack!!!! They are SO MUCH cheaper!! I plan to own 4, but you just have to take very good care of them!!! I currently own 2.

Yes, batteries usually last very long. We don't keep time on how long they can live. Of course, batteries for tamagotchis aren't that expensive  If you want, of course you can buy more than 2 tamagotchis! Having a big group of tamagotchis is funner than just having 1, or 2. You can connect with them, and loads of stuff with them! Of course, it is your decision ;)

You can have as many as you think you can take care of. I have one and am getting a second. I deliberated this so completely before getting it, you'd think I was having a kid or something, but I thought the interaction would be fun and it might be interesting to see the difference between a v4 and a v3. Anyway, only you really know what your own limit is. BTW I was able to get a packet of ten batteries fairly cheap on ebay, you might too. It ws 99 cents for the bid, and two or three dollars for s&h.
