It's not dying. If the matchmaker won't come, it's either too young or it's an oldie. I have 2 oldies. One is 34 and one is 37. They aren't dying. Your tamagotchi won't die if it doesn't get a mate. If you want it to marry, get another oldie and mate them to get a secret character called Oyajitchi.
