So today my very first vintage came in the mail. It's a special edition new zealand p2. I got it because it was a decent price and I had been wanting this particular one for a while, but the reason it was a good price was because it has a line of dead pixels on it, but I was 99% sure I'd be able to fix it by opening it up and tightening the screws inside. I haven't put batteries in it yet because I don't have that kind but I did take of the battery cover. The first screws gave me minimal trouble, but I can tell that they might not be as forgiving in the future so I decided to keep the back off until I can find new screws. My problem is with the next set of screws.
I tried twisting one to see if it would give me any trouble, but they're in there pretty tight.
And they are already stripped a little but every time I try it just gets worse. I already have a tiny screw driver, but my boyfriend says I might need something even smaller which i wasn't aware smaller ones existed. (the whole thing is like an inch long or something)
So before I go any further, I want to hear what to do and what not to do when tackling these screws. Please share your horror and success stories! Thanks!
