I got my tamagotchi three days ago and it has not turned a year older. Does the tamagotchi v 4.5 become a year older the first day you hatch it like some of the older versions? Or does it take a while? I did stop the time after it turned into a toddler a few times so I know that has some affect, but it hasn't aged at all. Do I need to reset? When I first got it I just pulled the tab and started playing with it. Thanks!

This has happened to me before, but on my V3. I had it for around 2 days, yet it still said 0 yrs. However, the day after it started aging again. Maybe you just have to wait and see until tomorrow. Hopefully, it would begin aging.

Until tamas change into their teen form, zero is shown as their age. pausing the tama DOES interfere with the growth process and takes longer to change into the next form.
