Well, oceans are high mainteinance pets. A TamaTalk friend who owns one says the baby to teen stage is all like looking after a baby, checking on it every five minutes, for many days, and it can die for almost no reason.
it can get attacked by polar bears etc...
Japanese oceans are more common than US: Us production was limited. It is very improbable to find an English version because they are rare and expensive, and few people would like to sell it.
If you are allowed eBay, you can check out Jason's store, adn he has several translucent Oceangotchi.
The tamagotchi ocean (US) is sold in worldshopdirect.com for 99$. They can go up to those prices on eBay, but few people would want to pay that.
Maybe you could post a request in tBay.
