Okay um can only certain tama's turn into oldies and also HOW?

All tamagotchis can turn into oldies (apart from the oldest versions, e.g. G1, G2) if you always refuse the matchmaker. They will only then have children if you have a male and a female oldie and you connect them, leaving you with the secret character. Hope I helped, Jay.

Yes, keep refusing the matchmaker with your adult tamagotchi, and then when it reaches age 10+, it will evolve into either ojitchi (boy) or otokitchi (girl). Then, you mate your female and male oldies. When they leave their babies after 2 full nights, you wil be left to look after their two babies. But after a whole unpaused hour, unlike normal baby tamas, they will evolve into oyajitchi - the secret character, instead of toddlers. But the matchmaker does not come for oyajitchis - so be careful! Because your tama will keep on gorwing older until it dies, unless it mates an oyajitchi of the oppisite gender.
