Omg this is weird!

Are you sure the battery was the right one (right code).

I tried to replace a battery once with one that was exactly the right shape and size, but a different code and had a lot of problems!

It was fine at first, for about 5 mins, then it kept beeping and failing and I had to keep re-setting it. Then it would be fine for another few mins until the screen went blank, etc.

I went out and bought another battery - the right type this time and it was fine after that....
