Only one baby?!?!?!?!?

I recently got a V5 and today I decided to mate a chantotchi with a mumutchi. Once I mated them, they turned into mamamemetchi and papamemetchi. There was fireworks and everything and then one egg appeared on the screen. It hatched and turned out to be a pantsutchi. Is this some sort of glitch??

It's random how many eggs you get- you can get 1, 2 or 3. I've heard that there's only a 10% chance of getting only one egg though- unless you marry a Sanitchi/Sunnytchi.

Oh ok haha I was a bit afraid of making a mistake with the character names! I'm not familiar with the names yet! XD Ok, thanks guys! I was starting to doubt it was a glitch when my sister got one egg as well about 10 minutes ago! ^^;
