Pause or Un-pause?

I pause my tamagotchi at night when it's sleeping. Does that effect on how it grows? Do you think I should continue doing that? I want it to grow. Thank chu

It does affect the growth by making it slower to evolve.

^ yup. really, the best way of letting your tama grow is letting it sleep, because it gets you all those extra hours of growth instead of only a few hours a day.

Thanks! Now I know that I should stop pausing it... I wonder how long my adult character will unlock the date place now... Oh well

Actually for some reason, it evolved after a short time. Plus I USED to pause it every night. I had that tama-go for about 2-3 weeks.
