Pausing vs sleep trick

As you know,pausing is when you press A and B together and it stops you're Tamagotchi's growth.The sleep trick is when you put you're tamagotchi to sleep and it ages without dying.

I want to know which one to do because there are positives and negatives for each.For example,if you use the sleep trick you might not get as much time with you're tamagotchi.

I personally think Pause, as I've lost my tamagotchi due to my mums friends son who is 2.

And I don't use my Tamagotchi's too much, either.
