if it's some sort of music contest, I would say practice until you are near perfect ...

Practice very hard. Practice parts where you are confused, and practice until you get it down good. :] (I practiced the melody part in TWW! and I couldn't get it, and I kept trying, then I could play it perfectly. This also happened with a note, Low G on Tuba. I DID IT. :3)
