Pix not turning on when pressing with camera button

I had a(broken but working) pix. but every time I try to turn on, it kept turned off. Need advice? thanks so much!

Have you tried replacing the batteries? They may have died without warning or come loose or something.

I will try to see it work. Thanks! Gosh, I don't let it die, without turning on! See if it's dead-or-not...My guess is dead, due to hours of not turning on.
