I have seen a total of three dead tamagotchi connection characters starting to live again after dying.
One v2 when I was about 9 years old, and now recently two v4's, and I think I noticed a pattern.
All three of them went out of battery while being dead; aka while the wing egg hovered up and down on the screen.
When the battery had gone out, it was not only the normal "battery out screen", but they had been left untouched for so long that they were completely out of battery, meaning that the screen had gone all blank.
After putting in a new battery and pushing "download" the three characters have all been alive again, although sick and dying still saveable.
I'm in the middle of trying this theory out, and I will post the results here.
If anyone else has got information on the topic, I'd be glad to read it, so let the discussion begin!
If this phenomenon is already known and tested, I apologise. I did search tamatalk for it but found nothing. Not even a topic asking if it's possible at all to get back a dead tamagotchi, so here I am, starting this topic...
