im not sure about pure families staying thru generations but i would think that marrying a mumutchi would be important again cuz the parents determine the family right?

when your memetchi is able to use the dating show just marry it to another character and you could get a blended, space or cheerful family. you will only get a pure family over and over if you keep marrying your memetchi to a mumutchi. if you marry your memetchi to another character in the same family you will get a cheerful family. so pure families DON'T stay through every generation unless you keep marrying memetchi to mumutchi.
