Question about passwords

I'm just wondering how they work. I mean, I know how to do it and everything. But I'm wondering how they can give you passwords that are for your tamagotchi only. How does your tamagotchi know if the password you're using came from another user?

it has a program that is username specific. i always assumed that it went be the letters and how many you have (A thru Z and 1 to 5 letters)

Oh I just used a fishing pole on my V3 - it gave me 500gp!!

If you have a username like this:

It won't work on TamaTown because it has no letters..................
