and if i do get a pure bred family do they all show up on the screen like the pictures from it?

Raise their bonding to 100% then mate your Mametchi with a Chantotchi from the matchmaker. Your current Chantotchi will leave when Mametchi gets married.

Mostly you'll see only the children on the screen. You'll see the complete family only during some animations.
