My friend said that if your baby Tamagotchi turns into a toddler before it is one day old it is rare , is

A baby tamagotchi will turn into a toddler after one hour of being a baby. (unpaused time)

So the toddler should be 0 years old the first day it's a toddler. The next day it should turn one a little while before it evolves.

Actually, it depends on when you start up your tamagotchi. If you start it late, it'll age slower because in 24 hours, it'll be one year old, by that time it'll probably be sleeping. If you start it earlier, it'll age like that and be normal
