Removing Battery, Download

I have come to a point where I have to many Tamas running at once and need to stop some for an extended period of time. Unfortunately I no longer have the little strip that originally came with it. I tried making a new one out of paper, but it did not work. So, If I remove the battery from my v3, will it retain its memory indefinitely until I put the battery back in and press download, or do I need to put the battery back in within a certain amount of time?

no just put danlowd it works with my v1 v2 v3 v4 v4.5 v5 v5.5 and music star v6

You can keep the battery out for as long as you want without fear of losing the data. I've been able to download properly on some I've had the battery out of for a few years.

The batteries can't last forever, but the memory that the tama has without the battery lasts forever. Just select download whenever your ready.
