reset download?

My tamas name was neji but it turned into leji people say i should press the reset button and download what does it do and if i do it will anything be erased? do i have to start over?

If you select download you tama will be the same. But its age will reset to 1.

If you select reset you tama will be reset.

That's not true. Downloading will not set your tama back to one. It resets everything since it woke up, connected, evolved, went to sleep, or donated to the king. I think there's another, but I can't remember.
