I have not been able to use my computer in the last few days because my hard disk broke...
I managed to recover my data, though. I won't have to redo weeks of work on my game!
However, last Saturday I went to a thrift store and I found...
...the original Tamagotchi game for the GB! (I'm not hacking this one, though!)
I love how you can choose the colours while the GBA boots.
These are the characters that the previous owner raised.
There were 2 Tonmarutchis, which later turned into Kuchitamatchis and then Hashizoutchis.
There was also a Marutchi which turned into a Tamatchi and then a Kuchipatchi.
Now that my PC is back, I can keep working on my game and this log! (As far as my studies allow it...)

The only Tamagotchi that I will continue logging from the ones I was using until now is the 15th Anniversary, since itis was the most recent one.
The Ura-Tama, the V2 and the V6 have already run out of battery...
I still have to make the generational growth charts though...
I will run 2 of the Tamagotchis I had off, along with the Anniversary and a new addition, which just came in the mail today...
...a Tamagotchi Keitai Akai!!!
I will not start it today, but I will try to do it this week.
It was actually supposed to get here before my birthday, but since I live in an island away from the mainland and my country has stupid laws it was kept on hold at the capital longer than it took for it to get there from Japan...

The eggs hatched into a pair of boys and a girl.
I called them Maxwell (Mimifuwatchi
♂), Flora (Futabatchi
♀) and Omar (Omututchi
♂).
The buttons are very sensitive and I ended up calling the family Suza by accident...

I was planning to run my V4, but the battery contacts were somewhat corroded because I accidentally left the old battery inside when I last used it... 4 years ago...
I could get it to work, but the buttons were extremely unresponsive and it eventually stopped sensing the battery again...
I don't know what to do now, because I don't want the new battery to go to waste...
Something interesting happened to the V1...
This V1 is very stubborn and will not stay on the low battery screen no matter how low it's battery is... which leads to some weird glitches happening...
This is Fin (which is Spanish for end, as this should have been the last generation on the V1), a... peculiar... Ichigotchi.
She evolved into Mametchi, but turned back into an Ichigotchi after going to the low battery screen momentarily.
Later it tried to evolve again, albeit with only some success, as it was interrupted by the LBS once again...
But... even if she remained an Ichigotchi, she did become an adult.
How do I know? Well, she is doing a close up in the photos above... and as there are no sprites for her close up, a Hinotamatchi shows instead!
If I manage the battery to survive, I might be able to get her married in spite of being an Ichigotchi.
Other glitches:
I may try to put the new battery I tried to use on the V4 in the V1 and see if the glitch stays...
