Motchi=means rice cake in japanese.

Sakura=Cherry Blossom.

To me, it looks like a young Violetchi. With the flower in her hair, and the girly flair.

(hey, that rhymes.... COOL!)

First of all, my avvie is Sakuramotchi! I love her looks, and she looks like a small baby strawberry in the making with a leaf on her head.

 
Sakuramochi is a wagashi (traditional Japanese sweets) made in springtime, and it's pink colored mochi filled with anko (sweet red bean paste) and wrapped in a pickled leaf from a cherry tree. That's why she's got that silly leaf on her head. She's one of my favorite characters too! :p

Is there a thread anywhere on the tama's names? Because some of them are really funny.
