No, you have to highlight your words then put on colour.

Yes, just highlight the words you want in colour and then click on the colour you have chosen.

As well as the tamatalk colours, you can also have different colours eg. lime green, salmon, skyblue etc by typing that colour instead of a original tamatalk colour.

Example: This is sky blue and this is salmon!
