I have to wear a Blood Pressure Monitor (Tommorow after I see My Counselor)

(well...not really tommorow as it is 2:21 AM. But I still call it tommorow)

I've been blacking-out, Fainting, Dizzy spells

So my mom made a Doctors appointment the other day.

I went to the Doctors tuesday, Got my Blood pressure taken, it was low. So I have to wear a Blood pressure monitor for 24 hours.

And if My blood pressure doesn't change, Or goes lower, I have to go to the city for a CT Scan.

Like, Part of me is scared for the CT Scan incase I need one, and Part of Me thinks that It might be slightly...neat.

I'm a bit scared, anything advice?

Hopefully My blood pressure will go up a bit.

Well just keep in mind all this stuff that's to check you out health wise is to insure you're healthy and doing OK. From yuor symptoms it sounds like you got something underlying that needs to be dealt with. It's probably quite scary being this is new to you all of this stuff, but the sooner this scanning and such gets done, the sooner they'll find out what's wrong and the sooner you can get some assistance for that.

I found out back in February I'm a type2 Diabetic. It was a little scary for me since I've been losing weight to avoid such a thing to come up but guess genetics caught me  Luckily though through tests and such I found out we caught it early and how to handle it. With diet, continuing to lose weight and medication I got my blood sugar to reasonable levels now  Compared to your issues though I didn't have symptoms, so I could of been a time bomb waiting to go off if I didn't get checked out.

The unknown can be a scary thing, but just ask the nurses and doctors you'll be dealing with to explain what's all to happen when getting scanned and other tests that may happen to you. But as I said, it's for your sake all of this testing, for your health I wish you good luck!

I had low blood pressure problems when I was young. It passed.

I was not really paying attention to my health and I was pretty thin but not SKINNY. I have never been skinny.

I just started to eat better, cut out the junk and I was fine. I hope your problem is minor like mine was.

Good luck

That never really happened to me.

There was just one time where I blacked out and I hit a glass table really hard and I had to get my brain scanned, but that was it.

I never had a problem with high blood pressure.

Turns out the Doctors got my appointment to put the blood pressure monitor on me Mixed up.

So I still have to wait, so I'm not wearing it yet.

I had to wear one too, but I think for more days.

My blood pressure was high though. :3 I really didn't want to go to School. :)

Now I take medicine.

Good luck!!

I got the ABPM (Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor) on Today a the Hospital, But I Can't wear It. As soon as the Cuff (You know, That thing that tightens around your arm when You're taking blood pressure) Tightened, I fainted. Plus It made me want to throw up.

So The Nurses Took me Down To Emergency and I layed on a Stretcher for about half an Hour. Then Went Home.

So I'm not Wearing the Monitor

But I may Have to go for a CT Scan, If that Doesn't help anything, Then I might need to go see a specialist.
